Uganda’s youth state their agenda ahead of 2011 general elections
Through a nationwide consultative process, the Uganda Youth Network with support from Deepening Democracy Programme and other development partners collected the views of young people regarding the Uganda they desire in 2011 and beyond. The process culminated into the drafting of the National Youth Manifesto as a set of key minimum demands for presentation to the various political actors.

The Youth Manifesto aims at strengthening the capacity of young people in Uganda so that they can informatively advocate and demand for more inclusive, accessible and accountable systems through which leaders at all levels can be challenged to deliver based on the demands of those that vote them into power and political office.
